  20.  
  21. I had probs with installing PowerView and I asked the audience of the LW-List.
  22. I got a lot of answers and they where all helpfull. But only by reading each mail I
  23. found the  right way.
  24. Because there are always lots of Install-Questions in the Mailing-List I wrote 
  25. this small FAQ: I hope it will help and my english is not too worse :-) but if I 
  26. would write in german 99 % of the audience couldn t understand what I have to 
  27. say/write :-)

  30. 1. Where can I get it ?
  31. I got it from the ftp-server: www.dcp.com in Germany. But there must be more 
  32. than this source. :-))

  34. 2. What do I need ?
  35. The Lightwave-Modeler :-))) + the PowerVier-Plugin called PVIEWGL.P + 
  36. 2 Files calles OPENGL32.DLL and  GLU32.DLL (I got them from the same 
  37. server as PView)

  39. 3. How to install?
  40. a) copy the 2 DLL-Files into your windows-system directory 
  41. (f.e. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM)
  42. b) copy the Pviewgl.p-file into your Modeler-Plugin-directory 
  43. (f.e. C:\NEWTEK\PLUGINS\MODELER)
  44. c) start the Modeler
  45. d) in OBJECTS-Menu klick CUSTOM and select ADD PLUGIN. 
  46. e) find the PVIEWGL.P file and select it.
  47. f) in OBJECTS-Menu klick CUSTOM and select CONFIGURE KEYS.
  48. g) choose a free function-key and klick the button right of the key-number. 
  49. Select ***FORI S_POWERVIEW***. Now press OK to leave the menu.
  50. h) Exit the modeler and restart it to make your installation permanent.
